The role

We are looking to hire a full-time associate, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced and growth-oriented work environment. This is a role with significant potential for advancement. We offer competitive salary and benefits.

Duties will include

  • Account management: Work directly with clients to develop and implement strategic communications plans across multiple platforms that meet and exceed objectives

  • Writing: Draft op-eds, talking points, and social media content

  • Research: Conduct research for client projects and related content needs, along with broader research projects to support business development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2-4 years relevant professional experience in public relations, communications, journalism, government, political campaigns, media or another related field

  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

  • Exceptional research, writing and editing skills.

  • First-rate interpersonal skills with the ability to connect well with clients and colleagues alike

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of applications required

  • Familiarity with Israel and the Jewish community is a plus

Paid Writing and Communications Internship at Miller Ink

The role

Miller Ink is seeking highly motivated interns skilled in writing, proofreading, research, content development, social media, and project management. The role is demanding; however, in turn, the intern will receive exposure to and experience in a wide variety of communications projects, working with prominent advocacy groups, businesses, and nonprofits.

Duties will include

  • Social media: Developing social media content and copy

  • Writing: Drafting blog posts, stories, speeches, and press releases 

  • Research: Conducting background research for client projects, speeches, and op-eds 

  • Project Management: Oversight of a range of projects, in collaboration with associates

An ideal candidate will have

  • Top-notch writing and editorial skills (interest and previous experience in journalism/communications preferred) 

  • Excellent organizational and research abilities, good people skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of applications

  • Interest in social media and an ability to use social media networks and analytics platforms

  • Familiarity with Israel and the Jewish community is a plus
